Italian eatery. Clyde, Ohio. Population 6064.
She wants stromboli for dinner. Her dad is the chef. She and her sister work the tables. She usually gets the lasagna or the manicotti. She’s glad she only works two days a week. Otherwise she’d be eight hundred pounds.
Her birthday is on Sunday. 28 years old. At least she’s not thirty. Her husband is thirty. She has five kids at home. An 8, a 9, a 6 yer old step-daughter, a...

A quote
From the old woman in the booth behind me at the one cafe in Castalia, Ohio.

I’m camping tonight in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, although the campground, Duneswood, is about a mile and a half from the lake.
Across the way are a couple of guys doing a quick four day ride from Ann Arbor, MI to Chicago. They did two awesome things:

Deb and Howard are hosting rockstars
Another failure on the getting a photo front for me.
Last night I stayed at the home of Deb and Howard and Deb’s two daughters in Carroll, IA. Self described “recreational riders,” they are pro hosts. If it wasn’t for the 15 pounds of pasta I put down last night, I may not have made it through the day, burning up as I was.
I spent one of the most enjoyable evenings of...
